Last week, international luxury travel network Virtuoso announced the winners of its highly anticipated 2016 Best of the Best awards and Borgo Egnazia in Savelletri di Fasano in Italy was named ‘Best Hotel of the Year’.
Built in the style of a traditional Puglian village, Borgo Egnazia provides 63 suites, 92 mini houses, 29 villas and a rich portfolio of restaurants, including the gourmet experience of Due Camini. Luxurious and romantic, the hotel has a championship golf course, two beach clubs and Vair, an ‘alchemic’ spa using treatments based in ancient Puglian rituals.
