The Board of Directors at Archerfield Walled Garden is delighted to announce the appointment of Ross McGregor as its new Director of Operations with immediate effect. Ross’s extensive experience, having worked in hospitality for over 17 years with some of the leading hospitality venues in the UK, made him the unanimous choice by the Board to position The Archerfield Walled Garden at the peak of hospitality industry in Scotland.
Prior to this appointment, Ross has opened 5 restaurants with these businesses including Harvey Nichols, Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group, Tigerlily Hotel & Malmaison. Ross was General Manager at Tigerlily (Edinburgh) and before that General Manager of the Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group, an icon in the world of hospitality where he opened the first Jamie Oliver restaurant in Scotland as Deputy General Manager. Earlier in his career he was Restaurant General Manager for Harvey Nichols based in Bristol Dublin and latterly Edinburgh.
With extensive experience in the hospitality market, Ross has been brought into The Archerfield Walled Garden to continue to develop the ‘Taste, Shop, Explore’ experience. Following the success of the delicious new menu, sharing picnic baskets and the chic Tea Party he has introduced, Ross will be introducing a number of other exciting new ideas which will strengthen the offering at The Walled Garden.

I will be exploring an array of commercial opportunities which are fitting with the business and will be exposing the venue to various different target audiences.”
