Iconic restaurant, Shepherd’s of Westminster has joined leading venue consortium The Westminster Collection.
The restaurant in Marsham Court boasts a rich and varied history and is widely used by politicians, diplomats, journalists and lobbyists as well as having a strong business clientele. The two private dining rooms, seating up to eight and up to 32, provide a discrete and elegant meeting space and can be booked for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, round tables or receptions. For larger functions, the whole restaurant can be hired exclusively allowing guests complete privacy for their event.
Shepherd’s of Westminster’s menu features seasonal and provenance themes, with all ingredients sourced from within the British Isles and is described as traditional with a modern twist.
The news of Shepherd’s of Westminster joining The Westminster Collection follows Berry Bros. & Rudd and The Royal Horseguards Hotel, who both joined in May, and only strengthens the collection’s position as Westminster’s leading venue consortium.
Providing event buyers and professionals with a direct line to some of Westminster’s most exclusive venues, the website allows them to connect with over 35 venues simultaneously and make the venue finding process efficient and stress-free.
Robin Parker, chairman of The Westminster Collection board said: “We are thrilled to have such a well-known venue like Shepherd’s of Westminster join our collection. They join us at an extremely exciting time as we begin the process of a complete re-brand including new name and new website which will only improve our position in the market and so we look forward to working with them in the months ahead.”
Lionel Zetter, owner of Shepherd’s of Westminster said: “Shepherd’s has always been an integral part of the Westminster scene, and we are delighted to join The Westminster Collection. Although Westminster will always be best known as the seat of government, it is also now a destination for people who want to meet, eat, drink and stay in central London. The Westminster Collection brings together conference venues, hotels and restaurants in an arrangement which works extremely well for the members and for potential visitors.”
