Contract and events caterer Fare of London has today released new dates and themes for its Taste of Fare series of summer food tasting events, designed to showcase its menus across a range of client venues in London.
The Taste of Fare events will feature great British foods, each with a unique twist appropriate to each venue.
Following the hugely popular first event at the HAC which took place on June 6th, the second event in the series will be held at the Royal College of Physicians (RCP), Regent’s Park on 4th July. This event, which will make full use of the RCP’s spacious garden, will be themed red, white and blue in homage to American Independence Day. As an added twist, the ingredients from top British suppliers will be used to create some typically American favourites such as short ribs and pancakes.
The next event in the series is planned for 12th July at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, East Smithfield, London, when the newly refurbished venue will be transformed into a ‘Through The Looking Glass’ theme. Highlights of the event will include flower and mushroom salad making, themed cocktails and many more food-related surprises from the Mad Hatter.
The final event in the series will be at Ironmongers’ Hall in the City of London on 13th July when guests will be taken back to the days of speakeasy jazz. The event will feature actors and props that capture the timeless elegance of the day. Food and drink to fit this theme will include cocktails, canapés and cheese tasting, again sourced from British suppliers.
John Durden, Managing Director of Fare of London, comments: “We are really excited about releasing these new dates for our Taste of Fare summer series and are looking forward to showcasing some delicious creations.
Our chefs will make the most of the great British produce available to come up with some really creative dishes that fit with each unique theme. From wine tasting and cocktails to barbecues, summer salads, great summer puddings and cheese tasting, these events are an opportunity for people to come along, explore our foods and get to know our venues,” he adds.
The Taste of Fare summer events follow the award-winning format of the company’s 2014 Taste of Fare event series. Fare of London’s Taste of Fare events are designed for event organisers and are by invitation only. Event planners who would like to express an interest in attending should get in contact with the venues directly.
