Now in its 13th successful year set in Colchester’s beautiful Castle Park the Colchester Food & Drink Festival took place last weekend. With over 100 different stalls with local and international food and drink, there was much to see and taste.
Attending this year and featuring their new afternoon tea range was Chef Thomas Leatherbarrow and the team from Pastry Development showcasing their new Afternoon Tea range.
The new Afternoon Tea range is a bespoke service Pastry Development offer to clients for a wide array of business events, helping people attending to feel that little bit more special and very much appreciated.
Chef Thomas Leatherbarrow has been pleasantly surprised from the reaction to the launch and told us. “Our new Afternoon Tea range has taken off round the world quite literally with bookings coming from the USA, New Zealand, as well as closer to home in Europe and here in the UK. Our afternoon tea range has been designed with the customer at heart. We have adapted the range so that we can provide it to airlines and private jet charters for clients who wish to have a very unique Afternoon Tea in the Sky”.
Included in our Afternoon Tea range is a wide selection of bespoke signature chocolates, created from using very exclusive chocolate sourced from around the world. The Pasrty Development Afternoon Tea range also features indulgently flavoured caramels and truffles, traditional twists on the classic Victoria Sandwich & Chocolate Fudge Cake, as well as classic Sicilian Lemon and Chocolate Tarts.
Alongside the Launch of their new Afternoon Tea range, Thomas and Pastry Development have also been supporting ‘Ups N Downs’ the Down Syndrome charity for children. Thomas went on to say, “this charity has had a real impact on me through the great work that they do, so 50% of Afternoon Tea sales from the Colchester Food and Drink Festival will be donated the Ups N Downs Charity to help with the incredible good work they are doing.”
If you have a business event and want to make the people attending feel that little bit more special and very much appreciated…Send Thomas an email and he will call you to discuss how he and his team can create that special afternoon tea, just for you.
