Leading Thai restaurant group Busaba Eathai will launch a new summer menu featuring a range of fragrant and vibrant dishes. With a focus on seasonal ingredients, the dishes have been designed to evoke a taste of Thai summer inspired by the heat and flavours of Bangkok and beyond.
New small plates ideal for a light summer bite include; duck and pineapple lettuce bites (with cucumber, mint, shallots, sweet chilli lime dressing) and bang-kick prawns (tempura prawns, Thai seasoned mayo, mango).
A taste of Summer is added to the main menu in four new dishes including; Thai summer beef salad (slow cooked beef, cherry tomatoes, green vegetables, wonton crisp), grilled chicken and mango salad (with baby gem, cherry tomatoes, mint, sweet chilli lime dressing, wonton crisp).
A recommended way to cool down in the heat is to eat a hot and spicy meal, the Thais embrace this with a love of curries and chilli and as the British temperatures rise Busaba’s diners can opt for one of two new curry dishes; patpong chicken noodles (curried noodles, shiitake mushrooms, green beans, crunchy chow-chow), and fish curry with starfruit (served with jasmine rice).
To quench the Summer thirst, new drinks include Q-cumber (sparkling mineral water with cucumber extracts) and fresh coconut water (served in the whole coconut), adding to an extensive range of refreshing fresh fruit juices, lassis, presses and cocktails (at selected sites).
The new dishes can be enjoyed alongside Busaba’s classics from 28th June when they will be added to the menu at all Busaba Eathai locations, on offer throughout the summer.
