Holiday Inn London – Stratford City has launched the ‘Food for Thought’ menu – a new way of nourishing delegates at meetings.
The new menu is independently accredited for its healthy approach by Food for the Brain, a non-profit, educational charity, created to promote the link between nutrition and mental wellbeing and performance.
“We are proud to have adopted the ‘Food for Thought’ philosophy which promotes delicious, healthy and nutritious meetings menus rather than uninspiring buffets.” says Richard Bartfield Conference & Events Sales Manager for Holiday Inn London – Stratford City. “Our new food offering keeps delegates mentally alert and energised, with a balanced blood sugar level throughout the day so they can enjoy more productive meetings at our hotel.”
The accreditation recognises the hotel’s high standards of nutritional excellence as well as ingredient quality, provision for special diets, production methods, staff training in nutrition and healthy eating marketing and affirms the menus ability to support delegates’ performance and wellbeing.
Menus feature freshly made dishes, prepared in the kitchen by the hotel’s chefs with ingredients responsibly sourced from British producers or sustainable sources.
Guests were recently invited to nourish their neurons at a special taster lunch showcasing the very best from the mouth-watering selection which includes tomato & olive bruschetta, quinoa with roasted Mediterranean vegetables and succulent smoothie yoghurt shots.
