Since opening in 2008 Bea’s of Bloomsbury have built themselves a reputation as being one of London’s leading independent cake and afternoon tea, café groups. Now to further build on this success they are launching a brand new café/cake boutique, with a brand new look.
The new store will be opening in May 2016, on Devonshire Street, Marylebone just off the world famous Marylebone High Street. It will showcase all the best Bea’s has to offer including their delicious cupcakes, incredible Duffins and famous afternoon teas. There will also be the opportunity to see some of Bea’s beautiful larger creations from their wedding cake offering and to make a consultation appointment at the main kitchen with one of the dedicated wedding cake chefs.
Marylebone is not just a new site for Bea’s, it is also the space in which they will showcase the group’s new trading name: ‘Bea’s Cake Boutique’ and their new branding and colours. Marylebone however won’t be the only one. Over the coming year the stores in St Paul’s, Farringdon and Bloomsbury will be undergoing some cosmetic changes, with all the locations under the same name. The sites will have a different look to that of the original sites whilst still retaining Bea’s charm and eccentricity.
MD Mona Golgol commented: “In the 8 years since Bea’s opened its first café in Bloomsbury we have seen the business develop and evolve into the successful boutique café business it is today. We are now incredibly excited to see Bea’s move forward with the new name and look, whilst maintaining our current reputation as a welcoming and friendly environment, serving some of London’s best cakes and afternoon teas.
