At this year’s Hotelympia exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the RATIONAL SelfCookingCenter 5 Senses, the first intelligent commerical cooking appliance that interacts with chefs. RATIONAL CookingLive demonstrations will take place on stand 4210, 29 February – 3 March 2016, ExCEL, London.
During the show, RATIONAL chefs will demonstrate the variety of menu items that the units can cook, many at the same time. Instead of using numerous cooking appliances at the same time, chefs can now cook everything in just one square metre of space with the SelfCookingCenter 5 Senses, replacing up to 50% of standard appliances and reducing the kitchen footprint by at least 30%.
The SelfCookingCenter 5 Senses combi oven shows which foods can be cooked together on the iLevelControl display. With iLevelControl chefs can specify what they want to prepare. iLevelControl monitors each rack individually ensuring consistent results every time. In addition, according to the load quantity and how often and for how long the door stays open, iLevelControl intelligently corrects the cooking time and even lets the chefs know.
RATIONAL CookingLive on stand 4210 demonstrates how easy it is for caterers from a wide range of industry sectors to prepare different meal occasions, with flexibility and consistent results with the SelfCookingCenter 5 Senses 6 grid, 10 grid and the CombiMaster Plus. RATIONAL are preparing a varied selection of food items for visitors to try on the stand, including breakfast items, lunchtime eating, such as flat breads, toasted sandwiches, bagels, main meals including traditional fish & chips and everyone’s favourite afternoon tea.
RATIONAL will also be showcasing the new cross and stripe grill grid that can create two different grilling patterns. Usable on both sides, the accessory produces either the favourite American steakhouse pattern or the classic parallel grill stripes.
Visitors can also experience how at the end of the session, the SelfCookingCenter 5 Senses matches how much cleaning is needed for the level of cooking residues, adjusts the automatic cleaning process so the units will be sparkling clean and fresh for the next day’s visitors.
