H&C News meets with suppliers regularly to keep up to date with the latest product and service innovations, aiming to get the inside track on what companies offer to the market and how it is delivered. This week, we met with Glen Boswell, Senior Sales Manager of Logic Vending – suppliers of coffee machines and other related products across the UK. With short-term rental, lease-to-own and straight purchase options, Logic Vending has commercial solutions for all businesses.
We’d like to start with the foundation of the business – how was Logic Vending formed?
Logic Vending was formed as a two-man-band over twenty years ago. We started out offering small filter coffee machines to local pubs at competitive prices. This attracted us a lot of attention. As the company grew, we expanded into commercial vending machines, supplying schools and hospitals with an inclusive, free customer service.
Shortly after, instant coffee machines exploded onto the market. Logic Vending became the business as we know it today. We offered free trials to our existing clients, with both long-term and short-term lease plans. We finally expanded into bean-to-cup and espresso coffee machines, including famous brands such as Jura, Fracino and Expobar.
We now have over 3,000 customers across the UK and are continuing to grow thanks, in large part, to our online presence.
How Do you Work With Your Customers and What Added-Value Services Do You Provide?
There are numerous ways in which we provide excellent value for our customers. The most important is our price promise. We’ve always been competitive in our pricing, ever since we launched – but now we guarantee that we’ll match the price offered by any other supplier.
Beyond this, taking care of our customers is of utmost importance to us. We have a dedicated Customer Care Team and a Service Department that consists of ten internal staff members and a national network of external engineers. Our lines are open from 7.30am – 6pm Monday to Friday and 10am – 4pm on a Saturday. This offers true flexibility and helps ensure that our customers can contact us when it’s most convenient for them.
We’re also one of the few companies of this nature to offer our customers a comprehensive upgrade services – so that if their sales expand, their coffee machine can too! Our upgrade options are available on all of our machines (from coffee and vending machines through to coffee grinders, commercial refrigerators, water coolers, and fruit juicers) and we provide continued service cover from our expert engineers.
Lastly, we have a great delivery and returns policy that blows competitors out of the water. We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, and we can replace faulty goods within 7 days of purchase.
What does the future hold for Logic Vending? Tell us about planned development for 2015.
We are thrilled to announce that we’ll lease our commercial coffee machines and related equipment to non-home owners. This brand new system means we can offer a financial agreement within fifteen minutes of your proposal. This is perfect for those who are starting a small business and are looking for a break.
We have also introduced an exclusive, brand new range of coffee beans called Native Coffee. This is a must have for high-end coffee retailers who are looking for exceptional taste and quality. We offer three delicious roasts to choose from, including the 100% Arabica ‘pure’ blend and Leonardo espresso beans.
Lastly, we’ve added a brand new coffee machine to our ever-expanding range. The Jura F9 Bean-To-Cup machine is one of the highest quality coffee machines around, and Jura has a stellar reputation to boot.
