This February sees the launch of ‘Book Bites’ at The Athenaeum Hotel & Apartments in partnership with leading publishers Pan Macmillan. The hotel will offer guests the chance to sample new releases from up-and-coming authors, with Shotgun Lovesongs by Nickolas Butler being the first in a monthly succession.

The Athenaeum has a long literary past, with renowned author Lynda Berry writing Say Hello To Sally For Me, a book about the life of former child actor and Executive Manager of The Athenaeum, Sally Bulloch. Copies of the book can be found in each room and detail the hotel’s intriguing past through storytelling and anecdotes.
