Global hotel chain Tune Hotels has announced the appointment of a new general manager to its Edinburgh Haymarket branch as the company continues to attract new talent to the business.
David Aylott joins the team following many years experience in hospitality, including ten years with Warner Leisure Industry in a variety of UK locations. As General Manager, David’s role will be to drive growth and oversee development at this key location for the business.
Speaking on his appointment, Mark Lankester, Group CEO of Tune Hotels, said “We’re thrilled to be welcoming David to the Tune Hotels team and he will no doubt be a great asset to the company with his wealth of industry experience. David will be invaluable to the continued growth of Tune Hotels Edinburgh, cementing its position as a key hotel for business travellers and city breakers alike.”

2015 is set to be a busy year for Tune Hotels, with the opening of Canary Wharf in February next year, and a further 25 hotels due to open across the UK in the next five years. More than 500 direct jobs will be created by Tune Hotels as part of this expansion drive and local businesses around each of the hotels will also receive a significant financial boost, with cleaning and housekeeping services outsourced to local companies.
