No doubt about it a mid or late morning brunch is a real treat and our friend’s at Great Brtish Chefs reported recently on a brunch they were invited to by the legendary Pierre Koffmann, his first ever Big Bordeaux Brunch.
The star dish pictured below was the “Entrecote, Oeuf et Frites” – a sirloin steak, topped with an egg and a generous portion of foie-gras as well as a mushroom jus. Robert McIntosh from Thirst for Wine was also there to guide and advise on pairings.
