Now in its fifth year, The London Restaurant Festival will run between 3 and 21 October and is the only festival that actually takes place in London’s restaurants, right across the city.
‘Restaurant-hopping’ tours and set-price Festival Menus
Restaurants involved will see a new customer base come through their doors via organised ‘restaurant-hopping’ tours and set-price Festival Menus.
It is the perfect opportunity for restaurants to increase their revenue – all the more important after a difficult couple of years, when purse strings have been tightened – and The London Restaurant Festival is keen to help independent restaurants and small groups through a series of promotions and events specifically aimed at increasing covers and revenue.
Previous years have seen chefs Gordon Ramsay, John Torode, Richard Corrigan, Pierre Koffmann, Michel Roux Jnr, Jason Atherton and many more involved. More details will follow on the amazing chefs involved in this year’s festival.
Driving business into restaurants
Founder Simon Davis says “The aim of the London Restaurant Festival has always been to drive business into restaurants and increase covers – and this remains core. We want to encourage those taking part to enjoy as many restaurants as possible over the fortnight. All our activity encourages the idea of ‘restaurant-hopping’ both with our Festival Menus and with our events: Tapas Tours, Graze, Cicchetti Trails and Gourmet Odysseys. It’s about fun, food and festivity…a celebration of London’s thriving restaurant scene.”
London Restaurant Festival was founded in 2009 by Simon Davis and is a city-wide celebration of London’s restaurants and chefs. With over 400 participating restaurants, the London Restaurant Festival is your passport to the capital’s thriving dining scene. Tickets and reservations can be bought or made via Livingsocial.com, TicketMaster.co.uk and LiveBookings.co.uk.
