This August, Martin Morales, Founder of Ceviche, has teamed up with Virgin Atlantic to offer the airline’s first ever pop-up restaurant, at Heathrow Airport.
From pop-up to pop-up!
Ceviche, the Peruvian restaurant, started life as a pop-up in London last year before finding a permanent home in Soho last March, fast becoming one of the most critically acclaimed restaurants in London.
The pop-up will be available to Upper Class customers travelling through Virgin Atlantic’s Clubhouse from 12 to 18 August, and will be positioned in the exclusive Loft area of the award winning lounge.
It will serve delicious, healthy Peruvian dishes including their highly-acclaimed sea bass dish, Don Ceviche; Drunk Scallops (king scallops with pomegranate, Pisco and coriander oil); and Ensalada de Quinoa (quinoa cereal salad with Limo chilli, red onions and lime juice vinaigrette) to passengers from 12 noon to 2:30pm for one week only.
Martin Morales says of the pop-up:
“At Ceviche we love doing things people have never done before. Innovation is key in what we do, and above all, it’s fun to do new stuff. We love serving Peruvian food and cocktails, so we are excited by our collaboration with Virgin Atlantic.
“This is the first restaurant pop-up with Virgin Atlantic, and we think the combination of our food with their outstanding Clubhouse is perfect. It’s only on for a week so it’s a real one off treat for us all.”
