The luxury Aurora Hotel Collection romped home with an impressive eight accolades at the Scottish Hotel Awards which took place on Sunday 28 April at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow, also scooping the most prestigious honour of the evening when it was announced as Scottish Hotel Group of the Year.
The Group’s haul also included awards for its flagship hotel, Airth Castle Hotel & Spa, which was honoured as both ‘Business Hotel of the Year’ and ‘Events Hotel of the Year’ for the Central & Fife region, whilst long-standing General Manager, Jerry Foster was awarded a ‘Management Gold Medal’.
Other hotels in the Collection also enjoyed success with the Cairn Lodge & Hotel in Auchterarder, which opened to great acclaim last Spring, winning Style Hotel 2013, whilst the Kenmore Hotel & Luxury Lodges in Perthshire were awarded ‘Romantic Hotel of the Year’ and ‘Serviced Apartments of the Year’ for the Central & Fife region, with Kenmore’s Head Housekeeper, Gary Perez, recognised with the award of a ‘Hospitality Gold Medal’.
