This prestigious 4 star hotel is looking to recruit a Head Pastry chef. The Hotel Executive Chef is keen to recruit an individual with an eye for detail and a passion and flair for pastry, to run this very busy section.
This popular conference and wedding venue offers a fine dining restaurant as well as a relaxed brasserie with luxurious Spa facilities. As pastry chef you will be responsible for the running of this section producing everything from homemade breads for breakfast to afternoon teas, desserts, ice creams and petit fours for both the fine dining restaurant and brasserie.
Our client is a well respected individual hotel operation located on the outskirts of Preston, where the emphasis is on quality. They offer a superb well organised kitchen environment with autonomy for the pastry section, creativity in writing your own menus as well as a professional working environment.
As Head Pastry chef you must have recent experience of working in a 2AA Rosette establishment, be a great team player, and have exceptional attention to detail standards and a good steady work history. Whilst this role requires you to manage 2 well established junior chefs, our client believes that it may also suit an experienced pastry chef without previous management experience.
The company offers an excellent package for the right individual, a salary of up to £28,000, 28 days holiday per year, and a share of the tips.
