The Restaurant Show has always been one of our favourite shows, it’s central London and easy to get to, not too big but plenty to see and do and a great chance to see lots of our regular advertisers in one day. So like most visitors we carefully plan our visit to maximise our time and below are this year’s top 10 on our list.
- Visit the Essential Cuisine stand and taste the stocks, jus, gravy, demi-glace and glaces and hopefully grab a few samples.
- 2pm Wed 10th Paul Ainsworth speaking at Centre Stage, Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 recently won the H&C News and Great British Chefs Restaurant of the Week.
- Watch the final of the the 2012 Young National Chef of the Year competition, great to see young talent being brought through our industry. October 9th.
- Drop by the Clifton Food Range stand and see the latest Sous Vide products, we love Sous Vide.
- Visit Call System Technology and collect our copy of the new Technology Guide to Restaurant Profits. The virtual restaurant should be good too.
- Call in on Adande and see the new branding being rolled out and ask them to explain how their claim that their refrigerated drawers improve bottom line performance.
- Take a look at the new SOLO chef’s thermometers on the TM Electronics stand.
- October 9th watch The Craft Guild of Chefs National Chef of the Year 2012, the winner follows in the footsteps of many celebrated chefs including Gordon Ramsay, this year’s final is expected to be tougher than ever.
- Definitely seeing Equipline must find out more detail on the new Pop-Up Café Pod!
- 2pm Tues 9th Marco Pierre White at Centre Stage, the name is a draw 🙂
