The Football Pie League is on a mission this Sunday to sample the Arsenal pies at Piebury Corner, and we can’t wait.
Sunday sees Arsenal take on Tottenham in possibly the most crucial North London derby in Arsène Wenger’s 15 years at the helm of Arsenal. His team’s ongoing inclusion in the top four has never been so shaky and his relationship with the club’s supporters never more fragile. Following damaging defeats against AC Milan and Sunderland, Wenger needs a reaction from his players.
Tottenham are full of confidence from recent form and on the back of three straight wins and a draw in their past four league meetings against Arsenal.
Any derby match is always hard to call but the task for Arsenal is clear, avoid defeat all cost.
Our main mission Sunday however is a much simpler one than Arsène Wenger’s, to sample the Piebury Corner pies and report next week on what we find.
If you have been to a match at the Emirates and want to recommend one of the Piebury Corner pie varieties for us to sample please let us know through a comment on The Football Pie League Facebook page here.
