The Cadogan, located in London’s prestigious Knightsbridge district, has won the “Best UK Luxury Boutique Hotel” award at the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2011 in Zagreb Croatia.
The quintessentially English hotel has 125 years of fascinating history, as it was once the home of Lillie Langtry, the famous actress and close friend of King Edward VII.
The Cadogan is also known for its association with Oscar Wilde, who was arrested in room 118 in 1895. The hotel is regularly frequented by A-list celebrities and neighbours from top fashion houses, including Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Prada.
The hotel offers 65 elegantly designed guestrooms and suites, Langtry’s restaurant, which serves modern English dishes created by the new Head Chef, Oliver Lesnik, plus two inter-connecting banqueting rooms, a lounge bar, and the elegant drawing room.
