Fantastic opportunity for a talented Director of Sales to join this 5 star boutique Hotel neighboured by some of London’s most prestigious shops and theatre land. The Hotel has approx 100 bedrooms, versatile meeting space and an award winning restaurant.
As a Director of Sales, key responsibilities will include:
To manage research and develop new business, maintain the business from existing clients in line with the sales and marketing plan whilst leading a team of 5.
Form part of the senior management team reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with Revenue Management.
To develop an Annual Sales Plan in conjunction with the hotel management team, in order to achieve the hotel profit plan – rooms and meetings & events.
Drive and coordinate all Sales activity to develop new and existing accounts at hotel level and on a National and global basis.
To actively promote the Hotel through networking and PR opportunities – attend all key and relevant social events and familiarisation trips.
To maintain team communication through weekly and monthly sales team meetings.
To conduct annual individual performance reviews.
Person Specification
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates will currently be employed as a Director of Sales or Assistant Director of Sales with the following qualities:
• Knowledge of the Corporate and Meeting & Events industries
• Excellent communication/presentation skills both written and verbal
• Proven Man-Management experience
• Good organisational/administrative/IT skills
• Experience of negotiation at director level
• Smart personal presentation
Remuneration – Basic up to £40,000 + bonus + benefits.
