2010 has seen our readers – you – select the pages you wanted to read, and the winners of our 2010 Top 10 are…
10. ‘Bring Your Ideas and Let’s Talk’ from Chef Line Solutions, promoting their attendance at Hotelympia 2010.
9. ‘Win super stylish Oliver Harvey chef jackets’ from Villeroy & Boch, promoting one of their brand associations in their usual style and clearly making an impact.
8. Saw Company Profiles establish itself as a new section.
7. Friday Fun broke into the rankings with ‘Breaking news…Burger King Shocks Customers, no more WHOPPERS!’ – One of our own favourites.
6. Next, the first in a series of breaking news stories that we are sure Gordon would have preferred to keep under wraps: ‘CEO of Gordon Ramsay Holdings has resigned’
5. Introducing our ‘Exclusive Special Offers’ section and the page views it attracts: ‘Buy a Falcon range oven and cook-up a Christmas feast’ from Falcon – well, everyone likes a deal!
4. We return to Gordon’s recent saga and ‘Extraordinary twist in Gordon Ramsay battle with father-in-law’ – it seems many of us love a bit of goss 🙂
The final countdown
3. Love them or loathe them, the celebs demand and get attention, and the Beckham’s and Ramsay’s are a combination made in media heaven, as we saw with ‘Tana Ramsay finds solace through Victoria and David Beckham.’
2. The CEO of one of the hospitality sector’s most forward thinking technology enablers outlines his vision, and page views demonstrate that the message is well received. ‘Leo Brand, CEO of Swisscom Hospitality Services, looks at how converging technologies are shaping the hospitality sector.’
1. No doubt about it here, and almost surprising as a very recent feature, but the sector united…The most viewed page of 2010 is ‘Friday Fun, if you don’t like Sepp Blatter and his cronies at FIFA this will make you feel a whole lot better.’
Thanks to everyone this year who contributed content, we look forward to 2011 with enthusiasm to create and host the information and content that engages with our newsletter subscribers and website visitors.
With best wishes,
