Boomerang: keep your customers coming back; ROI in only a few weeks
Call-Systems Technology (CST) introduced Boomerang, its new customer call paging system, at the Restaurant Show 2010.
“Feedback has been fantastic,” says Coleen Myers, marketing manager at CST. “Restaurateurs are saying it will make a huge difference to the quality of their customer service. They’ve also been amazed by how easy it is to operate and programme.
“Of all Boomerang’s new features, the ‘Voice’ function has generated the biggest buzz,” she adds.
Boomerang takes customer service to a whole new level, with its combination of stylish, versatile, easy to programme pagers and a hi-tech charging rack.h charger, easy to programme pagers it’s CST says its new paging solution will increase restaurant revenue, build business, cut costs and, most importantly, enhance the customer’s experience.
The slimline Boomerang is the first customer call pager system to be IP54 certified, underlining the fact that it’s robust and will withstand splash, dust and impact hazards. Its sleek, ergonomic lines fit the hand comfortably whilst its funky rubber ‘bumper’ surround adds further protection.
Boomerang features the ability to deliver both a numeric and a voice message, along with flash, tone and vibration alerts. This means it can inform customers of their table number, minimizing staff involvement. The Voice function allows messages to be recorded to highlight restaurant promotions, events, menu changes and seasonal references.
The pager features a ‘promo pocket’ for advertising or promotional material. The Voice function can be linked with the promo-pocket to give a message maximum publicity. If the restaurant is busy or noisy, Boomerang’s transmitter can increase the pager volume.
It’s not just the pager that’s setting new standards – Boomerang’s speedy, stackable charging racks have been engineered to offer the most compact and practical way to recharge and re-programme the system.
“Given the additional spend it generates, a typical mid-market restaurant should achieve payback on a standard 20 pager Boomerang system within a few weeks,” says CST’s sales director Bruce McNair.
Alongside Boomerang, CST will present its portfolio of market-leading communications products, including the QSR ‘hospitality automation and table management’ solution; WaiterCall pagers and the Genesis range of communications and facilities management software.
