Nearly 30 young graduates have celebrated their success with BaxterStorey at a special ceremony held on Monday 5th June at 30 Euston Square. Having invested in dedicated training programmes to support the careers of recent graduates and developing managers, BaxterStorey has recognised the achievements of a record-breaking 21 newcomers on its Momentum Graduate Programme and eight rising stars on the Advanced Management Project.
Graham Eveleigh, head of skills development at BaxterStorey, said: “Our graduate and management programmes provide a great platform for aspiring career starters and future business leaders. With all of this year’s graduates taking on full-time managerial roles with us and many of our managers already promoted to new roles, we’re hugely proud of them all and the wider teams that have supported their development.”
Blending on the job training and mentoring with classroom coaching, the Momentum Graduate Programme provides university leavers with an intense and varied introduction to the world of hospitality. From supporting the sales teams with new business mobilisations to ‘field to fork’ supplier visits and working with BaxterStorey’s chefs, the course provides the ideal introduction to a fulfilling career. This year’s programme has seen the graduates take on roles in operations, sustainability and supply chain.
The Advanced Management Programme works to develop current managers aspiring to more senior roles within BaxterStorey. Focusing on solid leadership and management skills, the programme allows participants to experience all phases of a project cycle, ensuring their training exposes them to the realities of today’s business environment.
Alastair Storey, Chairman at BaxterStorey, added: “Investing in young talent and our current rising stars is crucial to the development of our teams and growth of our business. Our programmes have been designed to support the needs of these ambitious individuals to excel within our company and it’s great to see them graduate after all their hard work.”
