Contract and events caterer, KUDOS has recently passed all its ISO audits to put them in the top 1% of companies to hold four ISO accreditations.
The caterer successfully retained all four certifications comprising of ISO 9001, 22000, 14001, 18001, after an independent audit was conducted in accordance with the governing bodies’ external auditing procedure; this firmly cements the caterer in the top 1% of UK businesses to receive all four accreditations.
The OHSAS 18001 accreditation, which demonstrates impeccable occupational health and safety performance, is a rare achievement for businesses, as only a select few members nationwide possess the coveted accreditation. Other accreditations such as the ISO 14001, recognise KUDOS as a responsible company that manages their environmental responsibilities, while the ISO 9001 standard ensures that quality of service is ensured and the ISO 22000 addresses food safety management, certifying control of food safety hazards.
Commenting on KUDOS’ recent success, Karl Wilkinson, Head of Health and Safety and Compliance at Crown Partnership said: “Maintaining all four ISO certifications is not an easy task. It requires a consistent commitment to integrate these management systems into each and every aspect of the working day and every part of service, delivery and operational safety.”
Wilkinson continued: “This is a fantastic result for KUDOS and shows that these ISO management systems are embedded throughout all their venues as demonstrated through these external audits.”
