Irish Olympian Natalya Coyle is to continue in her role as Health & Wellness Ambassador with Aramark, the global provider of award-winning services in food, facilities management and property, working with the company to promote healthy lifestyle choices in workplaces across Ireland.
The 26-year-old is the first Irish woman to represent Ireland in the modern pentathlon, which consists of fencing, swimming, and horseback riding, running and shooting. Natalya finished ninth in the 2012 London Olympics and finished a credible seventh at the Rio Olympics in 2016.
Speaking on her reappointment, Natalya said “I’m delighted to be involved with Aramark and to be promoting health and wellness. As a pentathlete I know the importance of staying fit and healthy.
“Joining Aramark as their Health and Wellness ambassador was an easy decision. I am a passionate believer in the value of nutrition and maintaining a healthy lifestyle and I share Aramark’s commitment to encourage people to take charge of their health which is why I want to continue to work with them over the next number of years.
“Just because I might work out more than the average person does not mean that I can forgo healthy eating habits and gorge on junk food. Healthy eating is something that I’ve gotten into more over the last few years and become really serious about. Trying to get the most out of every training session and eating right for recovery and to stay illness free is a priority for me.”
Natalya’s role will also focus on health and wellbeing, aligning with Alan Quinlan, Aramark’s other health and wellness ambassador.
Frank Gleeson, Managing Director of Aramark’s Food Services said, “Health and wellness is a top priority for our business and we are committed to building on our promise to get our workforce healthy. Natalya’s lifestyle and ultra-competitive nature makes her the perfect role model. Pentathletes are some of the hardest working and dedicated athletes you’ll ever come across.
“We are proud to have Natalya Coyle as our brand ambassador as she is synonymous with good health, fitness and an active lifestyle. She is completely in sync with our core ideology and a natural fit as our health and wellbeing ambassador. Our mission is to enrich and nourish lives and we understand that a healthy workforce is a happier and more productive workforce and our aim is to support them in this goal. We look forward to Natalya spreading the word about the programs, services and resources we have developed to promote well-being.”
