Liquid Academy Live announces they are bringing their creative expertise and drinks innovations to ScotHot 2017, bigger and better than ever before, for the second year running.
The hospitality academy will host the Liquid Academy Live Theatre at Scotland’s leading trade event for food, drink, hospitality and tourism industries on March 15th – 16th 2017.
A range of speakers and drink-related sessions will take place on the stage, offering tips, tricks and expertise for visitors to take back to use in their own businesses. From exploring innovation with ‘Simple Serve Sophistication’ that looks at new and unusual ingredients entering the soft drinks market; to ‘From Grain to Cask’ celebrating traditional spirits with a cask strength whisky tasting.
The first school of hospitality of its kind in Scotland, Liquid Academy’s mission is to drive innovation and train Scotland’s next generation of drinks experts to the highest standard of excellence within the hospitality industry.
Expected to welcome over 10,000 visitors next year, ScotHot brings together suppliers of food and drink; catering equipment; décor and design; tableware and technology products with chefs and buyers from hotels, restaurants, bars, catering outlets and tourism destinations.
ScotHot runs every two years and now takes place as part of the Scottish Tourism Week’s ‘Signature Events’ programme. This includes the Scottish Tourism Industry Conference; Scottish Tourism Week Dinner with a Difference and the ‘Oscars’ of the Scottish tourism industry, the Scottish Thistle Awards.
