The National Football Stadium at Windsor Park is celebrating its first festive party season following its refurbishment and new contract with events & catering specialist, Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events.
The award-winning catering, hospitality and event management specialists won a five-year contract to provide food and beverage retail and hospitality services for match day and non-match day events at the Belfast venue, in September.
Despite the contract officially kicking off only two months ago, Sodexo has had a high level of corporate events and Christmas celebration bookings, with shared and private festive party nights scheduled throughout December.
Laura West, Sales Manager with Sodexo at the National Football Stadium, said: “Since we opened the doors to this stunning new venue, there has been a huge amount of interest and excitement around the stadium. The space has been designed to be extremely flexible and therefore offers lots of options for both large and smaller, more intimate events.
“We have had a very successful Christmas season, receiving really positive feedback from our guests. The winter season has got us off to a fantastic start and we look forward to growing our corporate and private events business over 2017.”
Following redevelopment last year, the venue now includes four main function suites, all of which boast panoramic views overlooking the pitch, as well as 10 executive boxes and an education and heritage centre. Unique events spaces in the press room, dressing rooms, media gallery and players’ lounge, are all available to hire for private and corporate events.
