Grab your thermals and don your best wooly jumper, as inventive concept bar, The Hedonist Project, is bringing the apres-ski action to Leeds with its very own pop-up Alpine hideaway.
In celebration of its first birthday, The Hedonist Project’s cosy, Winter Ski Lodge, in partnership with Bacardi Brown Foreman and DC Shoes, is coming to the slopes of Leeds on October 21st.
The bar that was created in 2015 by expert bartending trio, Daniel Crowther, Bruce Lerman, and Tom Finnon is the only bar in the UK to re-invent itself every season; transforming everything from the décor, food and drink menus to the staff uniforms.
To mark one year since opening, The Hedonist Project will convert the entire space and concept in just four days, changing from a summer surf rum shack to a cold-weather Alpine mountain lodge.
The bar will be transformed into a retro ski-chalet with rustic alpine wood panelling, ski-mounted walls and cosy seating – making it the perfect spot to escape the chilly weather this winter.
Leeds hedonists will be able to ‘get piste’ at the new bar, thanks to an exciting menu of festive cocktails, plus unique mulled wines and winter punches that change weekly.
Continental meat and cheese boards are served daily at the mountain lodge and there will also be swiss-style toasties available to feast on from Tuesday-Sunday.
Expect a series of cool apres-ski events (minus the skiing) throughout the bar’s season including log cabin fondue gatherings and pay-day parties.
Bruce Lerman co-founder of the Hedonist Project said: “ The past year has been incredible and we’re really excited to mark our first birthday with our best concept yet..
“We love to put our expertise and passion into different themes to create a really unique experience for our guests.
“We thought the idea of an Alpine Ski Lodge would be really fun – we’re bringing a taste of the Alps to Yorkshire in our own unique way.”
