Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London is delighted to announce the appointment of Elisabeth Rugani as Director of Spa and Wellness at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.
Elisabeth joins Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London with a breadth of experience in the luxury spa and wellness industry. Elisabeth was previously Director of Spa and Wellbeing of the Espa Spa at The Metropole Hotel in Monaco, where she was in charge of launching Odyssey, a space designed by Karl Lagerfeld, which features a beach area, pool and dining venue, and is promoted through membership to Monte-Carlo residents. Before taking on the role at Espa Spa, Elisabeth worked with La Reserve Palace, Spa and Villas as both Director of Spa and Director of Sales pertaining to the Spa at both La Reserve, Ramatuelle in Saint Tropez, and at La Reserve, Geneva. In addition, Elisabeth was also part of the pre-opening team at SHA Wellness Clinic in Alicante, Spain as International Relations Manager, developing and launching the SHA Wellness Clinic concept.
A French national who speaks fluent English and Spanish, Elisabeth is passionate about horseback riding and was in the junior French national team for dressage and later passed her instructor degree in 1998. She keeps herself fit and healthy by eating organic and healthy foods only and she is interested in humanitarian activities, volunteering on a two-month humanitarian mission in Burkina Fasso two years ago, supporting an association helping teens, children and widows.
