Park Regis Birmingham and Birmingham St. Mary’s Hospice are joining forces for a gravity-defying fundraising event. Corporates are dared to face their fears and tackle a 48 metre abseil down the Park Regis Hotel, before taking on a ‘stair rush’ to the top floor on Friday 4th November.
A live leaderboard will post times as competitors race up the 16 floors to reach the Sky Bar. On completion challengers will be greeted with a glass of bubbly to celebrate, and a chance to relax and soak up some gorgeous views.
Dr Becky Dawlatly from Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Park Regis to host the exciting Fright or Flight challenge. This is a great opportunity for corporate teams to bond, have fun and raise money for a great cause.
“Providing choice and accessibility is a vital part of what we do, and fundraisers allow us to keep supplying excellent palliative care and advice in a variety of community settings.”
Robin Ford, general manager at Park Regis said: “We’re proud to be supporting such a worthy and important cause for Birmingham. I hope to see many lively teams competing in November, as I’ve already signed up!”
