We do not normally report of supermarket prices but we just couldn’t ignore the fact that from tomorrow, Thursday 25 August, Aldi will be selling Wagyu rump steaks for under £5 in time for the bank holiday weekend.
The meat is best known for high levels of fat marbling that apparently makes it healthier than other categories of beef, as the mono-unsaturated to saturated fat ratio is higher.
So if you have never tried this wonder product that some restaurants charge £40 per 100g and want to take advantage of Aldi selling ‘Specially Selected Wagyu Rump steaks’ (227g) for just £4.99, here’s their store finder.
A limit of two steaks per purchase has been placed on the steaks to ensure that as many customers as possible get to enjoy them.
Please Sir can I have more?
