Adam Byatt and his team are delighted to announce that chef Yoshiko Wada will be returning for her third Guest Chef Evening Upstairs at Trinity on 12th September 2016 and tickets are now on sale.
Yoshiko Wada grew up in Tokyo before moving to London at the age of 19. She discovered her love of food at an early age, often watching her mother and grandmother cook elaborate meals in the family kitchen. She started her own catering business, Ritsuko & Co in 2007, where Adam first met Yoshiko when he was invited to one of her pop-up dinners.
On the 12th September she will join Adam Upstairs at Trinity to create a very special one-off menu that will include delicious dishes such as Langoustine Tempura served with Chilli Garlic Mayo, Iberico Pork Cheek & Smoked Eel Croquetto and Beef Fillet Tataki served with Fried Garlic, Spring Onion and Ginger Ponzu.
Featuring its own kitchen, bar and dining area, Upstairs offers guests small sharing plates and lots of brilliant wines, both by the glass and on draught (yes, that’s wine from a keg!). Guests can expect communal tables, simple decor and easy dining. The new Upstairs space allows Adam to hold special events and once a month, ‘Upstairs’ will play host to Guest Chef Evenings with some of his biggest food heroes.
Adam Byatt comments;
“When we first visualised “Upstairs” I knew this would give me an opportunity to cook with some amazing chefs. But I wanted real cooks, people passionate about food and wine, whose ethos mirrored our own. We could not be more excited for Yoshiko’s return to the Upstairs kitchen and know that this will truly be an evening to remember.”
