Contract and events caterer Fare of London concluded its Taste of Fare summer events series with two unique tasting experiences at Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) and Ironmongers’ Hall.
Over 100 guests attended a magical ‘Through the Looking Glass’ themed event on Tuesday 12th July at the newly refurbished RPS in East London. Highlights of the evening included wrong-way-round canapés, White-Rabbit-in-the-lavender cocktails, Cheshire Cat cheeses, Wonderland flower salad making, as well as ‘drink me’ potions and plenty of magic tricks from the Mad Hatter.
The following day, Wednesday 13th July, Ironmongers’ Hall in the City of London was transformed into the days of speakeasy jazz where ‘bootleg’ gin was served in teacups and guests entered a world of gangsters and their molls. Almost 100 guests uttered the password at the side door and enjoyed tasting a range of great British foods with a twist from Fare of London including cocktails, canapés and cheese tasting. The event also previewed Ironmongers’ Hall’s speakeasy themed Christmas party packages.
Guests described both events as novel, wonderful, unusual and ‘beyond special.’
John Durden, Managing Director of Fare of London comments: “The feedback for our whole series of Taste of Fare summer events has been fantastic. Guests really enjoyed being able to take part in some interactive taste experiences and enjoy the top quality, imaginatively prepared food that Fare of London is associated with.”
A total of four events were held in Fare of London’s summer Taste of Fare series and featured great British foods sourced from top quality suppliers, each with a unique twist appropriate to the venue.
The Taste of Fare summer events followed the award-winning format of the company’s 2014 Taste of Fare event series.
