This summer, Richmond’s riverside destination restaurant, bar and boutique hotel, the Bingham, will be launching London’s first ever Rose Bar. Set in the Bingham’s lounge bar and terrace overlooking the Thames, the Rose bar will also pop-up in the stunning private rose garden, weather permitting. The bar will offer guests a change to enjoy the summer sunshine surrounded by beautiful flowers whilst enjoying an array of rose-infused cocktails and, of course, rosé champagne and wine.
The Rose Bar will be the perfect place to enjoy a summer apéritif. Cocktails on the floral menu will include the Rose Aperol, the Rose Mule and the Rose Fantasia, which will be available both in the outside garden and lounge bar. The lounge bar will also be pretty in pink featuring a wild garden theme with roses used throughout the space, bringing a touch of summer come rain or shine,
The Rose Bar’s menu offers a vast selection of rosé wine and champagnes, including not only French but also Portuguese varieties. There will also be 15 varieties of rosé champagne to choose from, reflecting the huge increase in its popularity over the past fifteen years. British Sales of Provençal rosé have risen from £105,000 in 2001 to a blooming astonishing £8.9 million, showing that the pink drink has become synonymous with summer and there is nowhere better to toast that than at the Rose Bar.
The Bingham will also offer a Rose Afternoon Tea available every day throughout summer. Guests can enjoy array of botanic delights such as homemade rose cream éclairs, rose and pistachio cake and a white chocolate mousse, pomegranate and sugared rose petals.
The Bingham, a beautifully restored Georgian townhouse originally built in 1821, is situated on the banks of the river Thames in the heart of Richmond making it the perfect place for those wishing to enjoy a gastronomic meal in the restaurant, creative cocktails and seasonal small plates in the bar or a romantic retreat in one its sumptuous rooms with treatments, therapies and yoga/pilates from its little sister, bhuti the newly built eco wellbeing escape.
