The Arora Group (“Arora” or the “Group”) is pleased to announce that as part of its ongoing strategy to review its portfolio and focus on its core assets, it has completed a £20m refurbishment of the Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel.
The refurbishment encompassed all areas of the hotel including upgrading its 3,000sqm conference and events space, reconfiguring the public areas to introduce a new restaurant, bar and lobby lounge and adding 61 new stylish guestrooms bringing the total count of bedrooms and suites to 710.
HRH the Duke of York KG, is a guest of honour to celebrate the re-launch of the landmark airport hotel following completion of the renovation programme.
This announcement follows Arora Group announcements earlier this year regarding the development of two new hotels, directly connected to London Heathrow Terminal 4 – the Crowne Plaza London – Heathrow Terminal 4 and Holiday Inn Express London – Heathrow Terminal 4, and separately the opening of the landmark InterContinental London – The O2.
Surinder Arora, Founder and Chairman of the Arora Group said:
“The Arora Group continually assesses our portfolio, looking at the value an asset creates and the resources it takes to maintain it. This refurbishment is part of our strategy to deliver sound long term value and uphold our reputation for quality and integrity in everything we do. With this refurbishment our portfolio is in a very strong position.
“In this case we were particularly honoured to be joined by His Royal Highness Prince Andrew, the Duke of York to mark the official re-launch of the Renaissance after the extensive transformation.”
