Because so many entrants are still away on holiday, the closing date for the 2015 FreeFrom Eating Out Awards has been extended to midnight on Tuesday, September 15th. However the closing date for the Schools and Colleges category remains at midnight on September 30th.
The FreeFromEating Out Awards aim to raise awareness of food allergy, coeliac disease and ‘freefrom’ food though the food service industry while rewarding those pioneers who are already out there creating stunning ‘freefrom’ food.
Entry is open to any sort of outlet from a street food stall to a five star restaurant or an allergen aware school and winners will be chosen by a team of independent ‘allergy aware’ judges on incognito visits to shortlisted entrants!
Winners will receive FreeFrom Eating Out Awards winning logos and coverage on all of the organiser’s social media sites and those of the Awards’ partners including the new Can I Eat There? restaurant guide.
The winners will be announced and the presentations made by our patron, Antony Worrall Thompson, at the Food Matters Live event in London on 17th November – after which there will be a ‘cook off’ between the winning chefs from the 2014 awards.
