Harrison Catering Services has launched a new mobile pop-up service to take its street food concept to the next level.
The company has customised its own Citroën H van with a fully fitted kitchen, enabling it to travel to its client sites to deliver a range of eclectic food offers.
Point of difference
Mark Stower, Director of Food and Service, said: “With its iconic look, the Harrison H van will provide a real point of difference at our schools and business and industry sites, offering clients and customers something special with a food offer that is completely different from their day-to-day menu, while showcasing our innovation and the added value we bring to our foodservice.”
From soup bar to wine bar to…
So far the H van has been used for everything from a ‘winter warmer’ soup bar, to a wine bar at a wedding, to serving hot refreshments to parents at their children’s weekend sports matches. Further concepts are being developed, including an authentic Lebanese offer and noodle pot, shawarma and wrap concepts.
