The #HandCSocial RoundTable meeting held earlier this year in February at citizenM Bankside in London brought together attendees from all areas of hospitality. The agenda set from the H&C News’ Social Media Benchmarking Report (email us for a copy) saw delegates discuss the report findings, and share their own experiences.
#HandCSocial Delegates engage at citizenM Feb 2015The feedback on and since the night of the RoundTable showed real enthusiasm for follow-up events that would examine and share social media ‘best practice’. Subsequent meetings with both delegates and sponsors have confirmed this enthusiasm.
So – H&C News is pleased to announce that three further roundtables will take place this year.
The first will be on 23 July at citizenM Bankside in London where the event will once again bring together attendees from all areas of hospitality to examine what social media engagement means and delivers to their businesses.
Peter Kitchin, MD of C&C Catering, champions bringing #HandCSocial northThe second will see #HandCSocial travelling north to visit the vibrant Manchester hospitality scene in September, date to be announced soon. The decision to extend #HandCSocial RoundTable event coverage to Manchester was inspired by one of our sponsors: Peter Kitchin, MD of C&C Catering proposed the idea. Peter’s idea was put simply, ‘there’s so much going on in the north right now, we need one here’. Backed up immediately by Daniel Nevitt, Group Marketing Director at Armourcoat with ‘Peter’s right’ and ‘we’ll support that’.
Recent market reports in H&C News confirm their view, and H&C News is delighted to have the opportunity to visit Manchester, and to hear the views of its hospitality delegates.
The third will be on 21 October when we return to London to examine how businesses are measuring their return on investment from their social media marketing.
Call for Delegates
Delegates at the #HandCSocial RoundTable contribute their own experiences and insights, learn from those shared by colleagues from hospitality, and have the opportunity to make invaluable new contacts.
If you would like to attend and actively contribute to one of the #HandCSocial Roundtable meetings, we would like to hear from you.
Please send an email to Editor@HospitalityandCateringNews.com with brief details of the following:
- Your contact details: name, employer, job title and contact details
- What social media channels you use
- What social media engagement means to your business
- How you are measuring return on investment from your social media marketing
- Anything else you feel would be helpful
- Also – please state which of the three events you would most like to attend. Delegates can only attend one but if you would like to be considered for two or all three that may help in being invited to attend one.
You will be acknowledged with a reply email within 48 hours.
We received many more requests to attend our February event than we were able to facilitate and expect similar levels of demand with our next three. So the earlier you apply the better and the more information you are able to provide the better too please.
All events are free to attend and refreshments are provided for all pre, during and post the roundtable discussions, we encourage delegates to then stay and socialise.
If you require further information about our events please contact Denis Sheehan
