Contract and event caterer Fare of London has won the five year catering contract for London livery hall venue, Farmers and Fletchers Hall. The contract was awarded following a rigorous tender process whereby the catering company showcased the quality of their bespoke menus and excellent track record for customer service.
The company will also support the Farmers and Fletchers Hall with a reactive sales capability and hall management helping to drive forward the events business for the livery company.
Newly refurbished venue
The venue, which has recently undergone extensive refurbishment work, is set to re-open in June this year, when new event spaces and enhanced facilities will be available for a range of events. The newly refurbished venue will be equipped to host conferences, meetings and training events along with special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and weddings.
Local food sourcing values
Fare of London were selected on account of their food sourcing practices which complement the Worshipful company of Farmers’ local food sourcing values.
Julian Sayers from the Worshipful company of Farmers says: “We chose to appoint Fare of London because of their dedication to British produce. Their recently launched Forgotten Fare campaign is an illustration of their dedication to support artisan producers and local farmers and food suppliers. For obvious reasons, we have to uphold the most ethical support of British farmers and food suppliers and we felt that Fare of London, given their track record of British food sourcing, would offer the right quality of catering which we require in order to sustain this reputation moving forward.”
Fare of London Managing Director John Durden says: “We’re delighted to be involved in the re-launch of such a fabulous venue. The team are very excited to be working with Farmers and Fletchers Hall to support business growth and offer bespoke seasonal menus which represent the ethos of their farming industry heritage. ”
Fare of London recently launched their ‘Forgotten Fare’ campaign which marks the 25th year of the company. The campaign aims to highlight heritage UK foods, raising the profile of forgotten foods and will see the company working with regional food suppliers, farmers and artisan food producers.
Furniture Makers Hall
The announcement follows the re-signing of another five year contract with existing Fare of London client venue, Furniture Makers Hall. The contract was renewed as a result of excellent customer service and great results in driving event sales to the venue during the winter period.
