H&C News’ first RoundTable was attended by delegates from pub groups, hotels, restaurants and coffee shops, and demonstrated that hospitality businesses are meeting some of the challenges of using social media.
Our next event is setting out to benchmark how extensively social media is being used, through what channels, which ones work best for specific hospitality and catering business sectors, and how ROI is measured.
A survey is currently generating results from across our industry where social media users are sharing their experiences. The results from the survey will help set the agenda for delegates and sponsors attending the next RoundTable in February to discuss and compare with their own experiences.
Following the RoundTable, we will be publishing the results of both the survey and the discussions held at the RoundTable. These will help all who are currently using social media to benchmark where they are against their peers, and will provide a window to what effective use of social media can deliver.
The RoundTable will host just 18 delegate attendees enabling everyone there to engage with the discussions fully. This is an ‘invitation only’ event – if you would like to be considered, please take the survey and indicate that you would like to be invited. As numbers are limited, not everyone can attend – but there will be more opportunities to attend RoundTables later in 2015.
Everyone who completes the survey will also receive the report on its findings and from the RoundTable before we publish those findings to the wider market.
We would like to thank our sponsor partners for their support in making the RoundTable events possible, and for their input to this ongoing project throughout 2015.
