Coffee and juice bar Joe & The Juice has appointed retail and leisure specialist Harper Dennis Hobbs to advise on a global expansion programme.
The brand was founded by Kaspar Basse in Copenhagen in 2002 and was bought by the Swedish private equity firm Valedo Partners a year ago. Their aim is to have 250 stores worldwide in three years’ time, including a first US outlet and with 10-12 new stores annually in the UK.
In this country, Joe and The Juice is currently only found in London and Solihull after originally opening in 2009, but is now considering more regional locations.
Its profile was boosted last summer when it ran a pop-up on the roof of John Lewis Oxford Street and it has now signed a deal to open in five John Lewis stores.
Airports, transport hubs, shopping centres and high street outlets are all on the company’s radar.
