BDRC Continental has announced that following the assessment at the end of Q2 2014, 27 venues have achieved their Gold Standard Accreditation.
The VenueVerdict Gold Standard Accreditation is given to those properties recording a twelve-month Net Promoter Score of +70 or higher from 40 or more Business Event Host responses in the twelve month period July 2013 to June 2014. Furthermore, each of the four calendar quarters is required to contain at least ten responses.
For the period in question, VenueVerdict featured around 380 participating meeting venues and hotels in the UK and Ireland. The results were derived – again – from a fraction over 22,000 individual pieces of feedback.
QHotels leads with 6 Gold Standards
QHotels has seen The Oxford Belfry (pictured top), Chesford Grange, The Stratford, Crewe Hall, Ashford International Hotel and The Westerwood Hotel and Golf Resort retain the VenueVerdict Gold Standard Accreditation, for the second consecutive quarter this year.
Positive effects
Michael Purtill, Managing Director at QHotels, said: “We have had a brilliant start to 2014 and the latest VenueVerdict victory has enabled us to continue to shine with our conference and events offering specifically. We can already see the positive effect this is having on the level of enquiries our team are receiving across the group.
“The accreditation is testament to the hard work of our teams at each hotel, dedicated to providing a professional, helpful, friendly and flexible service, tailored to each organiser’s needs. It is also of the upmost importance as it proves that event hosts are not only enjoying our exemplary service but are actively recommending us.
“It shows that we’re consistently hitting the mark with our meetings and events offering, with some of our hotels having retained this accreditation since 2011.”
James Bland, Client Services Director at BDRC Continental, said: “Achieving and maintaining a Net Promoter Score that is consistently above the national benchmark requires a very high level of performance across the board. However, the attributes that separate the good from the great are generally the softer, more people-focused elements of service. Achieving high scores for understanding planners’ priorities, having friendly, helpful staff and adopting a flexible and responsive approach will have the greatest impact on brand advocacy, and these are all areas in which QHotels continue to perform strongly.”
