Royal Albert Hall expands the service across multiple F&B points
Users growing exponentially and on track to hit 250,000 by end of year
The company also announces the latest round of investment to fund expansion and user acquisition
Q App, UK’s leading mobile ordering platform has today announced it has signed up more major venues to use its mobile ordering and payments platform, including the world-famous Ministry of Sound nightclub, Chicago Leisure nightclub and restaurant chain, Pho Vietnamese Restaurants (starting with a trial at Pho Spitalfields) and Street Kitchen healthy takeaway group.
The new accounts follow the announcement that Royal Albert Hall is expanding the Q App service to enhance its catering operations throughout the famous venue, following a 3-month trial.
These latest additions are a further sign of recognition in the hospitality sector of the benefits provided by mobile ordering, with the venues using Q App now seeing an average uplift of 12% to the number of orders processed at peak times and an even greater increase in average order value, all without any increase in staffing or infrastructure costs. They also get access to their customers’ data and the ability to up-sell additional products in real time.
With Q App now operating across a number of major venues and groups, it has attracted a significant and rapidly growing number of users, who are effectively ready-made customers for any venue on Q App platform. At the current rate of growth, the company expects to have over 250,000 users by the end of the year.
Serge Taborin, Q App CEO, said “Q App is rapidly gaining recognition as the leader in this space, having now proven our technology and the value it brings to a number of high profile/high complexity venues. Just as importantly, this has given us unique insights into making this concept deliver real value for our clients, an experience all our new venues benefit from.”
In addition, Q App has attracted a significant further investment from both the existing and new investors to fund its expansion. Taborin concludes “With the business now expanding at a considerable rate, it is imperative that we continue developing in key areas. Our investors have had a front row seat in observing our progress and we are delighted to have received further, considerable financial backing which will enable us to develop the service and drive awareness amongst customers.”
