Luxury hotel group Elite Hotels is delighted to announce that two of their beautiful retreats, Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens in Hampshire and The Grand Hotel Eastbourne, played host to the prestigious Cannonball Run event, which ‘revved up’ on Sunday 6th July.
The Cannonball Run is an annual supercar event, which sees the world’s most incredible cars, from Lamborghinis and Ferraris to Aston Martins and Bugattis participate in a fantastic 2,500 mile journey across Europe.
On Sunday 6th July, Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens in Hook, Hampshire, warmly welcomed the thrill seekers and their supercars, before seeing them off on their exciting adventure across Europe.
Experiencing Europe’s most thrilling roads
The tour details remained top secret until the starting day, but they were all guaranteed to experience Europe’s most thrilling roads including long scenic straights, winding mountains, sweeping coastal roads and finally, exclusive use of a world class racing circuit.
Tylney Hall Hotel & Gardens’ General Manager, Mark Robinson, commented:
“We were absolutely delighted to be able to kick start the Cannonball Run – it really was a pleasure to host the starting point of such a prestigious event.”
When the group arrived back in the UK on Friday 11th July, they were all treated to five star service at The Grand Hotel Eastbourne, the only five star seaside hotel in England. A stylish black tie event was then held to celebrate the end of the drivers’ ambitious journey.
The Grand Hotel Eastbourne’s General Manager, Jonathon Webley, commented:
“It was fantastic that we and our sister hotel, Tylney Hall, were given the opportunity to be part of the Cannonball Run. We were all very much looking forward to welcoming the drivers back after their challenging adventure – the black tie event was definitely a fitting celebration of a great achievement.”
