H&C News meets with suppliers regularly to keep up to date with the latest product and service innovations, aiming to get the inside track on what companies offer to the market and how it is delivered.
This week, we met with Brian Clarke, Group Marketing Director at ecostocker to gain a better understanding of the business.
So what is ecostocker..?
ecostocker is an online foodservice industry trading portal enabling users to trade new and used/surplus ingredients, equipment, packaging machinery and much, much more.
ecostocker is helping our customers to manage their inventory, trading obsolete plant, equipment, ingredients and packaging through our portal. We all know businesses where the warehouse is full of ‘stuff’ that should have been sold ages ago, wasn’t and as such takes up space doing little or nothing and costing money to stay that way. So ecostocker helps businesses like these trade what they don’t want with other businesses that do want it.
Using ecostocker you can upload details of your surplus stock or obsolete inventory presenting it immediately to thousands of buyers. We charge a fee of between 5 and 10% payable only on the sale of goods and operating on a no sale no fee basis. In addition, we offer expert advice and focused marketing into various sectors of the food industry. We have a database of users within the wider foodservice industry and with our experience we are able to facilitate sales speedily. We manage this process by identifying customers’ propensity to buy, this significantly improves the chance of moving stock on quickly and efficiently.
So not wanting to end the interview prematurely, there’s not much more to say. If you have unsold stock taking up valuable space, go to ecostocker and sell it through us.
Well that’s that then…Thanks Brian.
The ecostocker portal can be accessed here where you will also find full details of how to list products and full contact details.
