On Wednesday 23 October, 700 guests, businesses and hopefuls gathered for the 4th annual London Lifestyle Awards which took place at Troxy. Sponsored by Remy Martin, Zebrano Bars and Gulf Air, it was a celebration of all that makes London the amazing city that it is today.
Hosted by Scott Mills of BBC Radio 1, the Hospitality sector was praised and recognised for its great impact on the city throughout the year, with eight awards for which the public voted.
The Winners:
London Restaurant of the Year: M.A.S.H

London Coffee Shop of the Year: Benugo
London Hotel of the Year: Savoy
London Bar of the Year: The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town
London Club of the Year: Maddox
London Street Food Vendor of the Year: Fins and Trotters
London Members Club of the Year: Eight Members club
Presenting M.A.S.H their award was Sinitta and James Woodman of category sponsor Morretti. M.A.S.H was delighted to be voted, from the 17 shortlisted businesses, as London Restaurant of the Year. Peter Trauboth, Director of M.A.S.H, commented:
“We are so proud having been in London less than a year, it’s truly amazing. M.A.S.H is a large theatre performance, where guests enjoy each scene that appears on stage. Because all the elements – the actors, the atmosphere, lights, sound and other people behind the scenes – come together as one entity on a higher level. An experience.”
Whilst Ben Warner, founder of Benugo the winner of London Coffee Shop of the Year, and a previous winner in 20112, said:
“London is one of the most dynamic capital cities in the world, which makes this competition all the more competitive. We are absolutely thrilled for our high street deli cafes to have been recognised for being the best London Coffee shop for the second time.”
